‘Wake Up Dead Man’ Starts Filming, Full Cast and New Look at Daniel Craig Revealed

The full cast of the third Benoit Blanc film, titled Wake Up Dead Man, was finalized last week. The film is currently in production, as confirmed by writer-director Rian Johnson, who posted a new picture of Daniel Craig’s character on the set.

As reported by various trades, the cast includes Cailee Spaeny, Josh O’Connor, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Thomas Haden Church, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, and Daryl McCormack. It seems like those rumors of Tom Hardy and Lindsay Lohan might not have been true after all — although keep your eyes out for possible surprise cameos.

Plot details remain under wraps, but the first picture has revealed a brand-new look for Benoit Blanc, and the first description for the new story described it as Blanc’s most dangerous mission yet. This is the second and last project under Johnson-Craig-Ram Bergman’s deal with Netflix, and word of a renewal has not come out yet. The second film, Glass Onion, still ranks among Netflix’s top 10 most-viewed original films ever. Johnson and Bergman’s T-Street has another two-picture deal with Warner Bros. (not for Benoit Blanc films) that will probably take priority once the two are done with this film.

Wake Up Dead Man comes out on Netflix in 2025.
